Sunday Morning Coffee Fellowship

Coffee Fellowship on Sunday mornings before the 8a service and immediately following 8a service is an important time at Lord of the Lakes. We invite you to socialize, support, and build friendships that matter.  The coffee is always on and there always seems to be a wide variety and abundance of treats on hand.  

Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study

Sunday mornings 9:30a to 10:15a  Class is always lively and discussion is invited.  Bring your questions!  The current study is on the Book of 1 John, 2 John, 3 John and Jude.

Tuesday Morning Bible Class

Tuesday mornings, 9a. The current study is on the Book of Matthew.  We study, talk, and pray.  

Men's Breakfast Bible Study

Monday mornings at 6a on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at Perkins Restaurant, Broadway Ave. Forest Lake. A group of men who meet for breakfast and prayer and the Word. Currently we are reading through “The Bible in One Year" 

National Night Out

On the first Tuesday in August, we invite our neighborhood and members to join us for National Night Out.  Lord of the Lakes hosts and provides food and entertainment.  It's just one of the ways we "give back" to our neighbors throughout the year!  

"In Bethlehem Inn" Dinner Theater

During the first weekend of December each year our Fellowship Hall becomes "Bethlehem Inn" - a dinner theater that re-tells the story of our Lord's birth. The food is excellent, the story is told in a fun (funny) and relaxed way.  For the past 19 years we have been fully booked each night. Get your reservations early!

Booya 

For over 19 years we have held an annual Booya event.  Booya is a thick hearty soup full of veggies and meat.  We have gained a reputation in the community and people line up early with buckets to take some home.  Come early!!  Proceeds from the Booya supports missions and outreach efforts in our community.  

E-Dibs Bible Study

An Electronic Bible Study that comes to your email everyday.  Watch the video or read for devotion, either way it's only a few short minutes.  Invite your friends and family to participate.  Sign up by emailing Pastor Bertram at lotlpastor@gmail.com.

Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML)

Saturday morning at 9a the 3rd Saturday of each month.  A devoted group of ladies of all ages who meet for prayer, Bible Study, and service, locally and internationally.  

Missions and Memory

Each month we focus on a different "Mission" activity - sometimes local, sometimes international.  We also have a Bible verse highlighted in the hopes that it will be committed to memory.  

Operation Christmas Child

Each November we participate in Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan's Purse, providing Christmas gifts and a message of salvation in Christ to children internationally.  

Choir

Wednesday evenings, 7p.  September to May.  A fun relaxed group that likes to sing.  No experience necessary.  

Prayer Chain
